Biography
Timothy is a second-year student at the University of Sydney studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Aeronautical)/Bachelor of Science. His majors are in Space Engineering and Mathematics. Timothy has always had a strong interesting in mathematics. Recently, his main interests have been in using mathematics as a tool in engineering or other areas such as biology. He is very keen in learning about many other areas of science and being able to use mathematical tools in order to better understand problems in these areas. He is also passionate about passing on what he has learned to others. A few ways he does is by tutoring NZ students and organising an annual mathematics workshop for his past high school. In his spare time, he likes to play guitar and basketball.
Modelling of Infectious Diseases
In this project, well-known models for the propagation of infectious diseases will be investigated and modifications will be made to them in order to propose own models.
