Improving Dirichlet's Theorem

The primary focus is to understand how continued fractions are used in Diophantine approximation and in particular understand their use in problems relating to Dirichlet improvable numbers.

Adam Brown-Sarre is an Australian mathematics student at La Trobe University in Bendigo. Adam is completing his Bachelor in Science majoring in mathematics and physics with intention of continuing into honours in mathematics in 2022, and plans to continue to PhD and research in mathematics after completing his honours.

Adam’s current interests in mathematics involve the field of number theory and Irrational numbers, however he is keen to learn about different fields of mathematics to gain a broader understanding of modern mathematics research.
