I will investigate the formulation of word embedding vector space and its properties to
determine the appropriate metric to be used (from the set of Minkowski distances) when
comparing words. I will also search for evidence of vector shifts that provides changes in

Gabriel Schussler is an undergraduate at Western Sydney University studying Data Science. Having been raised in a relatively small community in the Blue Mountains National Park, located in New South Wales, Gabriel has developed a strong passion for the environment and is striving to build a better world through the application of new and innovative ideas. Gabriel is currently working part-time as a Data Engineer/ Analyst for Western Sydney University, and he enjoys all aspects of what this new role involves. He loves working closely with data to discover new insights. He is always looking to expand and develop his skills in the mathematical sciences. Gabriel has ambitions of completing a master’s degree in and he continues to maintain strong interests in working in research, however, he is also open to all possibilities leading from his Data Science Degree. Outside of his career and academic interests, Gabriel has a passion for being in the outdoors, an interest in overseas travel and maintaining his fitness through middle distance running.
